Tonight’s listening;

1 – Jesus Of Cool (1978)

An album of great songs that consistently hit the mark. Pure pop craftsmanship from Nick Lowe.

2 – Labour Of Lust (1979)

Rockpile’s brilliant playing showcase this excellent album and make Lowe’s songs crackle with vitality. It’s an exceptional collection of inventive pop songs and one of the great records of this wave of music.

3 – The Impossible Bird (1994)

Again full of great lyrics and undeniable pop craftsmanship and some of the best songs Lowe has ever written. His best album since ‘Labour Of Lust’.
